Don't Forget

|

All
proceeds this year will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation®.
Shirts are in and ready to be picked up. We will be at Beach Front at 10:30 to start
setting up, passing out shirts, eating breakfast and drinking mimosas. We may
have a few extra shirts so if you want one get there early, first come first
serve on extra shirts. We will start the
raffle around 11:30 or 12:00 and then start sending people on their way. As most of you know, we will have more people
than can get in any one place, so if you get to a bar and there is a line, leap
frog it and come back to get your shirt checked. Last year we had over 300 people so logistically
it got a little tricky but seemed to work out well. Remember, we are all here to meet new people
and have some fun.

Thanks to Kona Long Board for helping us again this
year. They have coordinated drink
specials with most of the bars, just look for signs on the tables. I would also like to say thank you to Jake
Archuleta of Surfside Screen Printing for being able to get 300 shirts done so
fast as well as finding every pink shirt possible in the Southwest. Thanks everyone and see you soon!
Please Drink Responsibley!

NINE EIGHT SIMPLE RULES FOR THE H.B. PUB
CRAWL!
1) One bar, one drink; more than just a motto,
it’s very good common sense. Many places that we stop at will have the
"larger than your average Beer" 12 oz. suds flowing, and/or signature
drinks like Aloha's Rainbow! It's tempting to chug a couple, but remember
you're already looking at the equivalent of 10 beers over the route. So if you
plan on making the whole crawl, STICK TO THE PLAN.
2) Eat, Eat and Eat! I am planning on eating
at Beach Front 301 for breakfast, but you will have plenty of chances to eat
along the way. Please, don’t skip out on the check!
3) Don't storm the bartender!! We have let all the
places know we are coming so they have staffed up. You probably will get a beer
faster by finding a table with a waitress.
4) DON'T BE A JERK! While getting kicked out of a bar makes
for good story, it does nothing for future pub crawls. We want to leave a good
impression so when we ask about coming back, they JUMP at the opportunity. Be
sure to thank the bars for having us.
5) Bring cameras! Oddly enough, many people have a hard time
remembering just how much they enjoyed a pub crawl, ha. I will be able to post
them on the website for everyone to see.
6) Make Friends! We are all here to have a good time! Most
everyone knows someone who knows someone that knows you. If you see someone you
don't know, introduce yourself and say hi.
7) Cash is better. Yes, this is the age of plastic, but on a
crawl speed is of the essence, and it's easier for the bartenders and
waitresses.
8) DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE! This should be tattooed
on most people's foreheads and should go without saying. Get a room, call a
cab, shack up with friends, or hell, you can sleep on my couch or in a tent in
the front yard!!
9) Cab it!
If a police officer says get in a cab and go home, get in a cab and GO HOME!

Due to the fact that Hurricanes has repeatedly treated our group bad, even though this is a charity event, we are boycotting their establishment.
